1982 EKTA IMAGING WAS FOUNDED

EKTA IMAGING began its humble roots as a professional color lab located in Cideng. We help wedding and commercial photographers develop photo slides on canvas as well as photo paper.

1985

1985 EARLY YEARS

EKTA IMAGING began to shift away from professional photography lab to expand into the commercial & advertising market. We also began the shift into digital imaging by investing in a high-resolution drum scanner as well as the use of computers for digital retouching.

1996

1996 THE SHIFT TO DIGITAL

EKTA IMAGING invested in the first Durst Lambda digital laser printer in Southeast Asia to support the growing demand from wedding, fine art, and commercial photography market.

2001

2001 EXPANSION TO LARGE FORMAT PRINTING

EKTA IMAGING expanded to the grand format digital printing market through the investment of a 5-meter wide Scitex Grandjet Digital printer – One of the first in Indonesia.

2003

2003 EXPANSION TO UV FLATBED TECHNOLOGY

EKTA IMAGING pioneered UV Flat bed printing and became the first operator of the revolutionary Durst Rho UV printer in Indonesia, capable of printing digital artwork onto rigid surfaces such as wood, metals, glass and acrylic.
